Ageing potential: 8-10 years
Character: Soft and lasting, with a discrete structure and acidity. Distinct taste of forest fruit, with a lovely palate of violet, green pepper and vanilla. Ideal companion for international cuisine.
Tasting Notes:
Deep red colour, rich aroma: Dried red fruit, such as framboise, fig and dried plum are mixed to make a velvety, balanced wine, with a proper balance of tannins and great ageing potential.
The Kir Yianni Merlot will not be produced anymore.
